Train Drive ATS app for iPhone and iPad

Improvement: The Display with different values is Not comfortable. You cannot enjoy the frontview because you allways have to Look at the bottom of the screen. An analog working Display with a moving needle inside would be fine. But, i like it! This program with german trains and I would be very happy.

Graphics arent bad, sounds are really good for 8.99 it may seem like a lot but its worth it once you actually play with the game for a bit. To make the game even better..... Future Update: -Add other traffic (train, cars) -Have people at the station (interactive) -Option to control the doors your self -Different view. -different times of day -different weather It would be cool as well if you took away the whole point thing. Gets kinda irritating. One thing that would be cool along the routes (and when the point system is gone hopefully) would be adding obstacles.... like a random wind storm throwing tress on the track and or switch failures. Adding those would bring more realism. Having real fun with the game though if your reading this you should get it (if you like train sims like me) :)

Ive played both this version and ATS Train Drive 2 and honestly this original one is more refined and has a MUCH better AI...much better. ATS 2 seems to have a few bugs to sort out such as the speed limit suddenly dropping without warning and you losing a LOT of points as youre frantically trying to slow the train down. This version doesnt do such nonsense. Also, ATS 2 is missing the music and announcements and the sound effects arent as good as this one and thus feels less realistic of driving a subway in Japan. If youre wondering which one to spend your app dollars on, its definitely this one!

Please, make that the people can drive the local trains from Yorii-Machi to Fujiwara-Onsen.

I may be American, and at first not understand, but now its the #1 train driving game I have ever found! For more than 2 years of work, it has turned out to be the best game ever made! Also, I wish that there were track numbers for all of the new stopping points that were added in Version 4, like on the Bushu-Fujiwara Line. There are certain things about train automation that I like and dislike in this game: 1: I like that there are communications that will display how far away the train is from a stopping point. 2: I like that all of the sections of track on the railway have assigned speed limits that communicate with the trains to display the speed limit for the train. 3: I like that the AUTO function is available. 4: I dont like when the automation thinks that a train is over-speeding, because the automatic B7 or EB enables. It makes me feel like I have failed. As long as the automation tells me the speed limit, I will be able to drive better. Also, if I dont stop the train before it makes contact with a deadhead on a track, it should not activate an auto EB, but it should end the scenario if I drive over the end of a train track. Also, if I do not slow down a train when the speed limit changes to a lower amount, or, if Im speeding, it should end the scenario if I am over the speed limit for 10 seconds. 5: Having only 4 meters of stopping area at the stopping points seems very small. I wish that it was 6 meters of available stopping area for every stopping point. When a train is 6 cars long, the front or back of the train is not passed the front or back of the station platform if the train overshoots or undershoots the stopping point on a 6 car long train platform. To make the train driving experience more realistic, I wish that the following things were adjustable: 1: I wish that you were able to adjust what appears on the information panel at the top of the screen. 2: I wish that you were able to adjust what appears on the panel at the bottom of the screen. 3: I wish that you were able to adjust what appears in the list of buttons that has the MENU button in it. I understand that trying to change all of this to be this way will take a lot more work, but if all of these changes were to be applied to this game, it would make it so much better.

The train does not begin at Yori, when entering practice mode, rapid express train is already at the end of the line, then it says game over. All levels do this, none of the trains start at the beginning. This needs a fix.

Pure waste of money! Lite version is better! Half of the runs start at the end coming into the last station! Pure glitchy! Dont waste your money. Very disappointed!

I wish this game would have more features like different tracks and how much traffic it had but other than that its perfect :) Also I would like it if you can make a 3rd person point of view while your driving the train :)

Here is what I think: I only have one track that I can play, no matter how you drive, you still get negative points which doesnt make any sense. One train, one track, even if you stop where you suppose to and keep the speed limit. Is there any other tracks? I was actually looking for a good game but now I dont think its worth $10 since I only have one train and same track. If someone know how to get other tracks, please let me know.
